We stumbled upon a lobster dinner today. Score!
I went to Megan Damon's house to take some portraits with Alya tagging along with Oliver, great wardrobe suggestions, and dirty jokes. She's a great assistant. We HAD plans to go to Deep Ellum in Allston this evening so that Alya could practice sign language with a classmate (summer school... last class til she's graduated). Alas the classmate got conned to work a double and we had no plans... alas we had to stay for shrimp... scallops... lobster.... We had to leave before the cake was done baking, but it's not like we had any space left in our stomachs. Maybe there will be leftovers. I'll have to find a reason to be in JP tomorrow.
Friday might become Oliver Day. He was hogging the fan during the hotness before the thunderstorms cooled us down.

He's so happy!!!! Adorable... How did you capture him so sharp and the background so fuzzy?

Long lens, lower aperture. Although some of the blur might be the slow shutter speed. Aperture priority for the win?
